Session 1: First Monday of May 2016 was a public holiday, so the first session for May was on 8th May, 2016. Standardising tests were given to all the students, to determine which category they fit in; pre-beginner, beginner, intermediate and advanced. This test would be given annually to see the progress of the students. The test includes 4 papers; A - Prebeginner level, B- Beginner level, C- Intermediate level and D- Advanced level. The students currently in Prebeginner level were given Tests A and B. Beginner level students were given A, B and C. Intermediate students were given B, C and D. Advanced students did tests C and D. The purpose of giving these tests was to see which category each student fit in, since there are some students who are under or over-performing for their current standards. Since a lot of the students were missing because of the one-week holiday the week before, the test was given to the new comers on the second session of May as well. -Schyna- Session 2: Most of the students who live elsewhere didn't attend DBRO anymore because they lived a bit far. So only the students who live in ULC attended. Worksheets were given to students who had already done the test, and for the newcomers, the test was given. After every session, when we are packing up to leave, they start their hobbies. Some children play the guitar, some play the piano, some sing, some play foot ball and some dance. It's very heartwarming to see them enjoying all these activities so much. More videos will be posted in the following sessions. So stay tuned! -Schyna-
